I completed by Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Gonzaga University in 2016 and obtained my Masters of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University in 2024. I hold an associate level clinical social worker license and am pursuing my independent license.
Prior to private practice, I worked in child welfare for 10 years. This included direct supervision and support of children, families, community partners, and other systems. I am a proud member of, and have direct professional experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and the neurodivergent community. My background in social work advances my values of comprehensive assessment for my clients and working towards efforts to remove barriers and help my clients feel empowered. I work from a person-centered and strengths-based approach. I believe that all people deserve to believe in their self-worth and acceptance. I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy. I believe that a connectedness to ourselves and our own bodies can help support a pathway to healing.
