I completed my bachelor's in political science from Portland State University in 2018. I am currently attending the Master of Social Work program at Eastern Washington University. As part of my clinical training, I am currently completing a practicum that includes 920 hours of practical experience under direct supervision of Shanna Porter with Wildflower Wellness Counseling PLLC. I am interested in working with clients with chronic pain or illness, ADHD, medical trauma, anxiety, and facilitating access to gender affirming care for transgender and nonbinary individuals. I am learning to utilize mindfulness-based stress reduction, DBT skills, and ACT. I joined the social work profession because of my personal experiences with the health care system and the dehumanizing treatment of chronic pain patients. I appreciate your willingness to consider my support in your healing journey. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to discuss them with me or my supervisor as I build my own clinical experience.
